Afghan family with three children (boys ages 10 months and 10 years, and a girl age 6) arrived early April 2017.  They first stayed with a volunteer before moving just recently into their apartment, which is completely bare. Click through to help with their household essentials.

Stanikzai Family

Stanikzai Family

This family from Afghanistan arrived on January 19, 2017 with a six-year-old girl and 2.5-year-old twins. Dad has a bachelor degree in Political Science and served as lawyer, prosecutor and translator for US troops in Afghanistan. Mom is educated and worked as teacher in Afghanistan. As a result of a land mine explosion dad was badly injured during a mission - he is still under treatment and is unable to work. This amazing family needs your love. Please help them by providing them with these much needed items.

Elham Family

Elham Family

The Elham family recently arrived to the US with their 8 month old baby.  For the past 14 years, the father worked for the ISAF, specifically for the US troops in dangerous locations of Afghanistan.  Now that they have immigrated to the US, they face a travel debt of $3,000.  They don't have many necessary household items or clothes.  Your support is kindly requested by this Afghan veteran who risked his life in support of our military.

Adil Family

Adil Family

The Adils (mom, dad, a three-year-old son, a six-year-old daughter and a new baby arriving any day now!) left Afghanistan for the US on July 7, 2016 and settled in California. Dad is a civil engineer, mom attends English classes and both children are eager to learn how to swim. The daughter is artistically talented and already interested in painting.  Items for the newborn are top priority!

Mubashiri Family

Mubashiri Family

Mom, dad and two sons ages 16 and 23 arrived in the US in late 2016. Both parents have started ESL classes, the 23-year-old son wants to attend college to study computer science, and the youngest son is in high school. Laptops are a high priority for them so they can study and look for work.
