The Rahimi family is an Afghan family with 5 children that arrived in the US in April of 2018. They have settled here, but are still in need of household items and school supplies for their kids to attend school. Their apartment is empty and they need your help!

The AlSmadi family arrived from Syria and resettled in California. Like many refugee families grandparents are important and kept close. For the AlSmadi family that means 7 people living together, mom, dad, 2 girls, 1 boy and the grandparents. The girls are twins and rely on a wheelchair. Due to their disability the family requires additional help. Luckily you, the Miry's List community, have big hearts and love a challenge. This wish list contains basic household and personal supplies that will allow this loving family to continue their path to a safe and happy home in America. The Sarwary family arrived in January 2019 from Afghanistan. They are resettling in Carmichael, CA near Sacramento. Dad served the US military in Afghanistan. They have two sons ages 4 and 2. Their most urgent needs are gift cards to buy the boys new clothes and shoes and living room furniture so they can host their new friends in their home.

We’re excited to introduce you to the Hamidi Family and welcome them from Afghanistan to the United States! They arrived in June 2018 but are still in need of living essentials like beds, basic furniture, kitchen supplies and clothing. They are a big family with 7 children — 5 boys and 2 girls — with ages ranging from 2 to 16. The five who are school age are attending school and need a laptop and a tablet to do their homework. Mr. Hamidi worked as a carpenter for US based companies in Afghanistan and Mrs. Hamidi has expertise as a seamstress and cook. They are all happy to be settling into their life in America but are struggling with their acclimatizing to the culture. Thank you for helping them to make their transition into their new life and home in the US with comfort and love.

Welcome to LA! The Urfan family are a mom, dad a 2 year old daughter who arrived in January 2018 to Los Angeles from Afghanistan. Dad worked with the US Army back home which qualified his family for a Special Immigration Visa to resettle in America. Mom is enrolled in English classes. Their most urgent needs are kitchen supplies, rugs, and a laptop for mom to continue her English learning at home and they can keep in touch with their family in Afghanistan.

The Amanyar family includes a mom, dad, and a 4 year old boy who arrived April 2017. Mom and dad both are bachelor degree holders and both worked with USAID funded projects in Afghanistan. Although dad has a job, they struggle to make ends meet. Please help with the following items for their expected baby boy, due at the end of May 2019

Meet the Al Delb family, mom, dad and 2 wonderful girls ages 5 and 13. The new arrival family is originally from Syria and arrived to the U.S in February 2019 from Jordan. They have been through a lot so we need your help and support to make them feel welcome in their new home!

The Gharwal family moved to the United States from Afghanistan in October of last year. They stayed with the husband's sister in a one-bedroom apartment for a few months until they were able to get their own place. The father worked over seven years in different USAID-funded projects. They just welcomed a new baby and are now a family of eight! Please help this family settle into their home.

The Abedy family needs your support! Dad worked with the US government and US army for about 12 years while living in Iraq, but the family left after being faced with a life-threatening situation. They have four kids, one of them a newborn baby boy. Please help provide them with what they need to make their apartment a home!

The AlhajAli Family, Mom, Dad and 4 children (2 boys and 2 girls, ranging from ages 2-11), arrived in the US from Syria in July 2016. Their journey has taken them from Syria -> Jordan -> Georgia, USA, and most recently they are permanently resettled in California where they are in need of many basic household and hygiene needs. Beyond just surviving-- by providing this young family with a few furniture and technology items we will help them to make their empty apartment into a home and stay connected to each other and their new community. The Ibrahimi family left Afghanistan in 2016 and resettled in Orange County in California . They have 4 kids ranging from 7 to 16. Currently the dad is working, the mom is taking ESL classes and the kids are all in school. Any help will go a long way to make them feel more at home!

The Ayan family are a young couple from Afghanistan with two beautiful children (a 4 year old daughter and a 1 year old son). The family arrived to the U.S in 2017 and currently live in Texas! The father drives uber while the mother stays home with the children. They need a few household items, especially children's beds as the kids are sleeping on the floor. Thank you for your help!

Meet the Alabdullah Family: Mom, Dad, and 5 kids under the age of 9. The 3 oldest children (a girl age 8, and two boys, age 6 and 7) were born in Syria. The family moved from Syria to Jordan before arrive in the US in June 2017. They welcomed 2 more members of the family (a girl, age 1, and a 5 month old son) while living in Sacramento, and now reside in El Cajon. The Yawari family consist of mom, dad with 6 kids between the ages of 6-17. Dad worked as transportation manager in projects funded by USAID. Although they have been here for a year the family has not been able to afford much household items and pay their bills.

The Alkhateeb family consists of Mom, Dad, Grandma, three daughters aged 3, 5 and 14 and a 3 month old baby. The family left their home in Syria after the Army started taking members of their family, including their uncle. They moved to Jordan in 2012 and arrived in America in 2016. Please help support this family!

Family of nine arrived in November 2017 from Afghanistan and currently residing in Texas. since they are seeking for employment, so they are not able to afford all the expenses yet. They are having difficulties paying their IOM travel loan and are also in need of some household items.
