The father worked with the US Army in the Ministry of Defense as an IT Team Lead, the mother has her bachelor's degree in Islamic law. This family is worried about finding jobs and buying a car once they have work. Please help this deserving family feel welcome and self-sufficent as they start their new life in CA.

The Sarwary family arrived in January 2019 from Afghanistan. They are resettling in Carmichael, CA near Sacramento. Dad served the US military in Afghanistan. They have two sons ages 4 and 2. Their most urgent needs are gift cards to buy the boys new clothes and shoes and living room furniture so they can host their new friends in their home.

Welcome to Hayward! The Noori family are a mom, dad, and son who arrived in February, 2019 to the Bay Area from Afghanistan. Dad worked as an engineer back home. Their 3-year old son loves going to the park with mom and eating hotdogs. Their most urgent needs are Amazon Gift Cards so they can purchase clothing and shoes, and furniture so they can create their new home.

Welcome to LA! The Urfan family are a mom, dad a 2 year old daughter who arrived in January 2018 to Los Angeles from Afghanistan. Dad worked with the US Army back home which qualified his family for a Special Immigration Visa to resettle in America. Mom is enrolled in English classes. Their most urgent needs are kitchen supplies, rugs, and a laptop for mom to continue her English learning at home and they can keep in touch with their family in Afghanistan.

Welcome to California! The Teymuri family are a mom, dad, and 11 year-old son who arrived in Sacramento from Afghanistan in July 2018. Dad worked as a government employee back home. Both he and mom are learning English and looking for jobs. Their most urgent needs are beds and bedding to to get the rest they need to adjust to this new life.

Although dad has a job, they struggle to make ends meet. Please help with the following items for their expected baby boy, due at the end of May 2019

The young Aref family arrived from Afghanistan to Sacramento in December 2017. Both Mom and Dad have bachelor degrees in economics. Dad is looking for job and mom is taking care of a 5 year-old son and a 1 year-old daughter.

The Abedy family needs your support! Dad worked with the US government and US army for about 12 years while living in Iraq, but the family left after being faced with a life-threatening situation. They have four kids, one of them a newborn baby boy. Please help provide them with what they need to make their apartment a home!

The Ibrahimi family left Afghanistan in 2016 and resettled in Orange County in California . They have 4 kids ranging from 7 to 16. Currently the dad is working, the mom is taking ESL classes and the kids are all in school. Any help will go a long way to make them feel more at home!

The Yawari family consist of mom, dad with 6 kids between the ages of 6-17. Dad worked as transportation manager in projects funded by USAID. Although they have been here for a year the family has not been able to afford much household items and pay their bills.

Family of nine arrived in November 2017 from Afghanistan and currently residing in Texas. since they are seeking for employment, so they are not able to afford all the expenses yet. They are having difficulties paying their IOM travel loan and are also in need of some household items.

The Ghanizada faimily is consists of 5 girls between the ages of 2-9. Parents are high school graduates and dad used to work with US companies in Afghanistan. The parents are struggling to afford the living cost while also taking ESL classes. Please help them thrive on their new lives in the U.S!

The Ibrahimi family left their home in Afghanistan in 2017. They have 3 children ages 11 months to 4 years old. The father was a driver for a U.S project in Afghanistan. They are enrolled in ESL programs and are in need of basic home items.

The Ghafoory family consists of Mom and Dad, 2 daughters and 4 sons. The father holds a bachelor degree and worked as a university lecturer in the Heart province of Afghanistan before relocating to the U.S with his family in February of 2018. The 20-year-old daughter was medical student in her 6th semester and she, along with her sister and father, plan to continue their higher education here in the states. They need laptops and college supplies to achieve this goal. The 12-year-old son is disabled and is in need of educational toys.

This family of 6 arrived from Afghanistan in November 2017. The family traveled to the US through SIV due to threats because the dad was worked for U.S projects. The family is in desperate need of listed items and is expecting a baby in April 2019.

The Zar Niazi family has 6 people - mom and dad, with 4 kids aged 2-5 years old. They arrived on 7/11/2017 from Afghanistan. The father of the family worked with US aid companies, but his life was not secure, so he got an SIV and traveled with his family to the US. They are in need of household items and while dad does not yet have a new job, they feel safe here and they are happy.

The Nasir family arrived in Nov 28 2017 and settled in Sacramento,CA. They came to the U.S. by the SIV program. They have 2 boys, 6 and 7 years-old. Mom and Dad both can speak English but not well. Mom is going to school and dad is working. Their kids are in school right now too and could use the help to sustain their new education. Let's help welcome this family!
