The Rafi family is made up of a single mother with four children. Sadly, the father was killed in a car accident their first week in the US and one of the children was also involved in a car accident and has severe brain injury. The family is now living with an uncle and they are in need of household items. Please help this family!

This list is for a family from Iraq: a single dad and four kids. In 2010, the oldest son, Ahmed, and his mom were hit by a car bomb. His mom died and Ahmed survived, but was badly injured. The family then moved to Jordan so that Ahmed could get surgery and so they could apply through the UNHCR to come to the United States. Ahmed’s surgeries will continue into 2024 and he now also has stage two brain cancer. The family needs your support.

Meet the Roman Family from Afghanistan! Mom and Dad have three children, ages 3, 7, and 9. The family first arrived in the U.S. in April 2017 in Chicago, and recently moved to California. They need all the household items for their apartment here. Dad is searching for work. Please help and support this family. They need our love and generosity!

The Ghafoory family consists of Mom and Dad, 2 daughters and 4 sons. The father holds a bachelor degree and worked as a university lecturer in the Heart province of Afghanistan before relocating to the U.S with his family in February of 2018. The 20-year-old daughter was medical student in her 6th semester and she, along with her sister and father, plan to continue their higher education here in the states. They need laptops and college supplies to achieve this goal. The 12-year-old son is disabled and is in need of educational toys.

The Abbas Family is a four person family from Iraq that is in some need of assistance. In June of 2008, the father and son of the family were driving in AlKarada, Iraq when unknowingly, someone put an explosive device in their car. Shrapnel fragments injured both father and son causing the father of the family to go blind in one eye. The family moved from Iraq to Syria before landing in the US in September of 2017. Let's help this family in need by filling their home with the necessities they need to feel supported + welcomed!

The mother is sick and uses a wheelchair, and the daughter has vision problems. Recently, the father suffered from a stroke as well. Please help this family who truly needs your support!

This list is for the Al Krad's, a family of 8 who arrived to the US from Syria in late 2016. Their second eldest son was shot by the Syrian Army and left permanently disabled. Another son was tragically shot and killed in Syria. The mother is currently pregnant with a baby girl who is due to arrive into the world on October 8, 2018. The family is in need of some electronic items, and especially of items for the baby. Let's shower them with some Miry's List love!

Hello Miry's List community! The Sultani's are a large family of 8 (2 parents and 6 children ages 5 to 20). They traveled to the US from Afghanistan in December 2017 after receiving an SIV (Special Immigrant Visa) due to threats to their lives and the war in Afghanistan. Now they are in need of some household items, most notably BIKES for the kids who walk one-hour to and from school and a very special WHEELCHAIR for the 5 year old boy.
