Dad is currently enrolled in college while also working as security guard to support the family. He previously worked as a translator for the the US Army while in Afghanistan. The family is in need of furniture, clothes, shoes, and technology items.

The Zamani Family arrived from Afghanistan on July 12, 2017. They lived for almost a year in a one bedroom apartment before recently making the transition to a new apartment in LA. Before coming to the US, Dad had served the US military and Mom was a homemaker. Now settled in California, Dad is working while Mom is staying home to take care of the little ones. With the older children in school and not yet able to work, the family is currently in need of help to meet their basic needs.
