Please welcome the Joya family from Afghanistan! They arrived in the U.S. in October of 2021 and resettled in Fort Worth, TX. They are a family of 4 with a 1 year old boy and 1 new born girl. Dad worked in Combat Medic with US Army back in Afghanistan! Mom has started English classes through our SANAH program. Their most urgent needs are laptops, household items and things for the little ones.
Welcome the Rahimyar Family! They are a mom, dad, sister and brother, ages 7 and 2. They left an unsafe situation in Afghanistan where dad served as an interpreter in the US Embassy. While they miss family and friends back home, they have great dreams of pursuing higher education in their new home in California. Let's help make their house a home!
Please welcome the Alemi family to Rancho Cordova! Mom, Dad, son, and daughter arrived from Afghanistan in July of 2021. Dad worked as an engineer back home and is now working as an assembler while Mom is eager to attend English classes. Both children are in school and are excited to be living in the United States. Their most urgent needs are household items and laptops for learning English and doing schoolwork.
