Gil Cates, Jr.

Director, Producer

Gil is currently Executive Director of the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles, CA. Film credits include The Surface (starring Sean Astin and Chris Mulkey), Jobs (starring Ashton Kutcher and Josh Gad), and the feature film Lucky (starring Colin Hanks, Ari Graynor, and Ann-Margret). In addition, Cates co-produced and directed the critically acclaimed Life After Tomorrow, featuring Sarah Jessica Parker, which won best documentary at the Phoenix Film Festival and premiered on Showtime. He studied at the National Theatre Institute in Waterford, Connecticut, and holds a B.F.A. in Drama from Syracuse University.

Michelle Shnaider

Producer

Michelle is a freelance Digital Marketing Specialist who started her career at Warner Bros. over 15 years ago, and most recently worked at Fox where she was Director of Worldwide Digital Marketing. Since then, she has been a freelance Digital Producer with clients such as Fox Home Ent., Paramount Home Ent., and multiple digital marketing agencies. As a child of Soviet Jewish refugees, Michelle is passionate about helping underserved communities and has served on the Board for several non-profits.

Don has cut a wide variety of projects including the sitcom “Impress Me”, for executive producer Rainn Wilson and PopTV on Amazon Prime. Don’s feature film credits include the upcoming “A Country Christmas Harmony”, “On Fire”, “The Kiss List”, “Merry Kiss Cam”, “List of a Lifetime” (2022 Critic’s Choice & HCA Nominee for “Best Made for Television Movie”), and “They Found Hell” (Best Editing nominee). Don has also cut countless commercials, trailers and short films, including the award-winning shorts “Shevenge” & “This World of Ghosts”, as well as SoulPancake’s web series “The Flipside”.

Ramon Garcia

Cinematographer

Ramon Garcia served in the US Army as a Counterintelligence Special Agent at Fort Bragg, NC during three combat tours between Afghanistan and Iraq. He then went on to work out of the National Ground Intelligence Center in Virginia and served abroad with a focus on counter-proliferation, force protection and disrupting the transnational operations of insurgent organizations. By using retinal scan biometric cameras for their unintended purpose, he created intricate videos adding critical details which provided a safety net for the Task Forces and the civilian populous. Using videos to tell the stories of the personalities he encountered became his creative outlet while aiding in the advancement of the quality of life promised to foreign populations.

Ched Tolliver, Composer

Ched Tolliver is a multi-faceted composer and musician. Ched’s most recent works include the film scores to Redville (2022), The Hit Man (2022), The Fight That Never Ends (2021), California Love (2021), Stronger for Life (2021), String Phone (2019), Nof1 (2020), and the award- winning VR experience The Hidden (2019). Ched also scored the indie romantic comedy Love Daily (2018), Brand New Old Love (2018), The Bronx Bull (2017), the documentary Newman (2016) and adapted and arranged music for Bad Kids of Crestview Academy (2017).
