Who we are:
Kitchen Table is a social dining app that brings people together to share dining experiences, make meals accessible, easy, and memorable, and redefine what it means to eat local.
This gathering:
Welcome to the first Left Coast meeting of the Beer Book Club. This event is a great beer tasting, potluck, and dinner party all mashed into one. Here’s how it works: BBC meets on a semi-regular basis to share and taste some great beers. The potluck part is I pick a theme, and ya’ll bring some beers that match the theme (see below for the FAQ). I provide some snacks (feel free to bring your own to help supplement), I provide tasting knowledge (aka spout some BS about what I think the beer tastes like), and everyone has a ton of fun! This BBC’s theme is new beginnings.
Tickets are $5/person. Save your seat on Kitchen Table App: https://www.thekitchentableapp.com/meals/1565
FAQ:
The title includes the word “book.” Do I have to study beforehand?
No. There is no reading required. Just beer drinking. I’m going to have a personal tasting notebook, so feel free to bring (or start) yours too.
Who provides the beer?
We all do, it’s basically a tasting potluck. Bring enough beer for you, and if everyone does this, there’ll be plenty. If the beer you want to bring is sold in 6 packs, great! If it’s sold in 22oz bottles, also cool, bring some of those. Pre-chilled bottles are best, but if the bottle you want isn’t cold, we’ll find a way to fix that!
