You asked, we listened! New Arrival Supper Club is hosting our 1st family friendly event.
This 3rd installment in the New Arrival series features the traditional foods of Homs, Syria. We are bringing back our chefs from our debut Valentines dinner but this time they're preparing an extravagant family lunch!
This mom and dad moved to Los Angeles with their twin 6 year old daughters and their now 18 month old baby, in June 2016. They fled Homs, Syria in 2012 after their family home was destroyed and spent four years in Jordan before being awarded resettlement in the US.
They are talented cooks and they'll be offering delicious lunch fare in a family friendly environment.
Lunch will be 11am-1pm on Sunday April 2nd in a private residence in Atwater Village. We will have fun lawn games to keep the kids entertained and an amazing Israeli DJ playing middle eastern tunes for a fun afternoon in the sun.
Your support of New Arrival Supper Club gives Najwa and her family the ability to share this most wonderful part of Syrian culture with you while giving them a meaningful and fun way to earn money.
We are offering kids aged 2-12 tickets at $25 and adult tickets in three levels: EAT, GIVE and LOVE.
EAT ($50) gets you delicious food, coffee and tea made by our family! A portion of the ticket price goes towards the cost of supplies and food for the event, and 10% to Miry's List (www.miryslist.org). Everything else goes to the family.
GIVE ($75) gets you all the delicious food mentioned above, plus you'll be donating an additional $25 directly to our family.
LOVE ($100) will get you the delicious food, plus you'll be donating an additional $50 directly to our family.
Tickets are on sale now at brown paper tickets
