What does life look like as a resettling refugee in America? Over the course of three years, Los Angeles based photographer Angie Smith has documented the process of refugees rebuilding their lives in Idaho, Salt Lake City and Los Angeles.

Stronger Shines the Light Inside, an ongoing public photography installation and social media platform, tells the stories of resettlement in America. Through portraits and interviews these real life accounts help Americans understand the complexities, struggles and personal triumphs that refugees experience in their everyday lives.

Stronger Shines the Light Inside is a medium to share real stories of resettlement from the newest Americans.

Join us Wednesday 4/11 6-9pm for the exhibit opening party, where you can meet the artist, our families, and our team!  On view through April 15, 2018.
