This family of four moved from Syria to Egypt in 2012 with the hope they would someday return to their beloved home in Syria. During this time the mother got pregnant with their first daughter who was born with health complications and is now disabled. In 2016 they made their way to Los Angeles. Recently, the father had an accident and he broke his leg. This family is currently facing extreme difficulty and needs your help and support.

This large family from Afghanistan arrived in October 2017! They have 3 boys and 2 girls ranging from 16 - 5 years old. The father worked as an English teacher and interpreter for more than 10 years but his safety was compromised due to his employment with the US. Their apartment is still empty and are most urgently in need of items such as bedding, blankets, kitchen supplies, carpet and vacuum cleaner.

Haroon is a young boy that arrived from Afghanistan in August 2017. He stayed 45 days with a host family. He has Masters degree in Buisness Adminstration in Afghanistan and has experience from working with the US Army Corps of Engineers. Haroon newly moved to his apartment and is in need of bedding and household items.

This family of six ran away from Syria when the army started forcing young men to join the army. They fled to Jordan and then resettled in California in 2016. They are now in a tough situation as the father is not working and the mother requires dialysis. This family needs your help with a car, rent, and household items.
Momand Family
The Momand family left Afghanistan in late 2016. They have a 4-year-old boy and a 20-month-old girl. They also have a beautiful baby boy who was born in September 2017! Dad has a degree in banking and is going to school to perfect his English. Mom has a Masters degree in International Relations. They live in a small apartment and are in desperate need of suitable bedding for the children. They also need clothing and diapers. They are lacking some basic household items. Mr. Ziaee worked with the American Amk9 company in Afghanistan for 6 years. His wife is pregnant and the due date is October 28. They are currently in their new apartment in Washington with nothing, needing many items for their family and new baby.

The Sayedi family is a young couple from Afghanistan with a 2-year-old boy. The father has a degree in Geosciences and worked with the USAID as a senior data, statistics, and reporting analyst. He also has experience in administration, translating, and budgeting. They are in need of clothing and household items, but most urgently are in need of a refrigerator -- they cannot keep milk for their baby boy due to the hot weather. They need your kindness and support.

The Ahmadzai family is from Afghanistan. This family of six arrived in March 2017 and settled in OC, CA. Dad worked in the U.S. embassy in Afghanistan as a driver. He is currently jobless and the oldest son works at a medical company part-time. Mom is an excellent cook who can cook for large numbers of people and is creative in making great and new foods. They attend ESL classes. They need help getting items for their home and paying their IOM travel loan.
