Each of us has the potential to improve the experiences of the people around us. Refugee families come to the United States seeking a safe haven from violence and persecution in their home countries. They leave behind family and friends, as well as virtually everything they own. At Miry's List, we provide a mechanism for people like you to directly help new arrival refugee families with the things that they need to get started in their new lives – from diapers to beds to cleaning supplies and toiletries.

Our work would be impossible without compassionate supporters like you joining the movement. Give $100, $500, $1000, your zakat or any amount, to provide direct help to families who have lost their homes to war and conflict. We need 5,000 people to give $100 or more to reach our goal!

We believe it is our community responsibility to help our communities as they resettle in their new country. Your support of Miry's List helps us:

Provide new arrival families with necessities like furniture, groceries, diapers, cell phones, cleaning supplies, and more.

Connect new arrival families to our community support system upon arrival, to bring in more friends, helpers and much-needed human connection.

Make acclimating to life in the United States more supported by helpful, trained mentors for learning English online professional development for newcomers, and finding more local resources in the community.

Our unique approach of Survive, Hive, Thrive supports families from their very first days in the United States and continues for 12 months. Once their needs are met, many families in our program choose to stay involved long after they graduate as volunteers to helping the families who have come after them. Over half our 18-person staff are graduates of our program.

This Ramadan, help your fellow humans who have left their loved ones and homes behind

By helping these new Americans resettle, you can give them the precious gift of comfort, safety and a sense of belonging.
