Please welcome the Joya family from Afghanistan! They arrived in the U.S. in October of 2021 and resettled in Fort Worth, TX. They are a family of 4 with a 1 year old boy and 1 new born girl. Dad worked in Combat Medic with US Army back in Afghanistan! Mom has started English classes through our SANAH program. Their most urgent needs are laptops, household items and things for the little ones.
Welcome the Rahimyar Family! They are a mom, dad, sister and brother, ages 7 and 2. They left an unsafe situation in Afghanistan where dad served as an interpreter in the US Embassy. While they miss family and friends back home, they have great dreams of pursuing higher education in their new home in California. Let's help make their house a home!
Meet the Seddeqi family from Afghanistan! They arrived in the U.S. in September of 2021 and resettled in Sacramento. They are a husband and wife with an new baby on the way! Dad was a Senior Cultural Advisor for the US Army, and grew up in a very academic family. He enjoys learning and is happy to raise his new bahy in his new home. One of his favorite books is the Guiness Book of World Records!
