Dad worked as a IT specialist with the US Embassy and mom was a pharmacist in Afghanistan! Their most urgent needs are laptops to continue their career paths here, household items and some items for their little boy.
Welcome Niaz family! They are a family of 7 who arrived from Afghanistan in August of 2021, and resettled in Sacramento, CA. They have 5 kids, ages 10-23 years old, and they are all very excited for their education here. Dad used to serve the US Army for 10 years, and now both he and his wife are enrolled in ESL classes. They urgently need technology for learning, as well as kitchen and household supplies.
Welcome Rahimi Family! Rahimi Family arrived in the USA in Aug-2021, They are a family of two. Rahimi used to work in the Machinery Operation Section in US Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan and has found the same type of work for a company in Sacramento, CA. The couple is missing their families but are optimistic about starting a new life here!
Meet the Seddeqi family from Afghanistan! They arrived in the U.S. in September of 2021 and resettled in Sacramento. They are a husband and wife with an new baby on the way! Dad was a Senior Cultural Advisor for the US Army, and grew up in a very academic family. He enjoys learning and is happy to raise his new bahy in his new home. One of his favorite books is the Guiness Book of World Records!

Welcome Rahimi family! Mr. and Mrs. Rahimi are from Afghanistan and came to the US in August of 2021. Mr. Rahimi worked as a machine operator for the US Embassy in Kabul, and is happy to report that he has already secured a job as a machine operator at a local company in Sacramento, CA as well. They are missing their family and friends back in Kabul, but are very optimistic to restart their lives here.

The kids are very excited to begin school in the US, and mom will begin english lessons soon as well. Their most urgent needs are household items and laptops for learning.
Welcome Hamidi Family! Mom, Dad and infant son arrived in August of 2021. Dad served with the US Embassy and USAID as a project manager for over 6 years. Mom is working on her English here at the local community college. Their biggest needs are technology for at home studying and items for the baby. Thank you for helping!
Welcome Mohammadi family! This young couple arrived to the US in September of 2021 and resettled in Virginia. Mrs. Mohammadi has been experiencing some health issues, but has previously been a tailor and hopes to get back to that when she is well again. Mr. Mohammadi worked for the US Embassy in Afghanistan and is happy to be here in the US. They are just restarting their lives here, and need clothing and shoes (via Visa gift cards so they can choose style and size in person), as well as a cell phone to communicate.
Let's welcome the Kohistani family from Afghanistan! They are a family of 6- mom, dad and 4 children ages 8, 6 and 3 year old twins! They arrived to the US in August of 2021 and resettled in Sacramento. Dad served the US Embassy for over 5 years in Afghanistan! They are a happy family and the children are really excited being here and for their new school. The twins love to go outside to play as well. They are in need of some urgent items to start their new lives in America.

Mom has been busy raising their 5 children and hopes to take English classes at the local community college. Their biggest needs are household supplies and technology for doing school work at home.
