Please welcome the Joya family from Afghanistan! They arrived in the U.S. in October of 2021 and resettled in Fort Worth, TX. They are a family of 4 with a 1 year old boy and 1 new born girl. Dad worked in Combat Medic with US Army back in Afghanistan! Mom has started English classes through our SANAH program. Their most urgent needs are laptops, household items and things for the little ones.
Welcome the Rahimyar Family! They are a mom, dad, sister and brother, ages 7 and 2. They left an unsafe situation in Afghanistan where dad served as an interpreter in the US Embassy. While they miss family and friends back home, they have great dreams of pursuing higher education in their new home in California. Let's help make their house a home!
Meet the Sultani family from Afghanistan! They arrived to the U.S. in Sept. of 2021 and resettled in CA. They are a family of 7 with 2 girls and 3 boys. Dad was a Civil Engineer with NATO. Mom is attending online English classes. The family needs furniture and kitchen items to set up their new home.
Ahmadzai's are a family of five Mom, Dad and three children 5, 3 and 1 year old and twins expected late July! Dad served in the International company in Afghanistan. Both parents are interested in continuing their education here. Their urgent needs are things for the kids, kitchen supplies and household items.
Let's welcome the Baraki Family, who came to California in Dec. 2021 from Afghanistan. They have 3 kids - 2 daughters 9 & 2 and a 7 year old son. Dad is taking English classes and the kids are in school. Everyone is excited to learn and start a new life! Their urgent needs a laptop for school and household items.
