Please welcome the Joya family from Afghanistan! They arrived in the U.S. in October of 2021 and resettled in Fort Worth, TX. They are a family of 4 with a 1 year old boy and 1 new born girl. Dad worked in Combat Medic with US Army back in Afghanistan! Mom has started English classes through our SANAH program. Their most urgent needs are laptops, household items and things for the little ones.
Welcome the Rahimyar Family! They are a mom, dad, sister and brother, ages 7 and 2. They left an unsafe situation in Afghanistan where dad served as an interpreter in the US Embassy. While they miss family and friends back home, they have great dreams of pursuing higher education in their new home in California. Let's help make their house a home!
Please welcome the Yousufi family from Afghanistan.! They are a family of 7 - Mom, Dad and 5 kids ages 2 - 21. Dad was self employed in Afghanistan and Mom was a full time parent. They are happy here and very thankful for the Miry’s List community! Their urgent needs are household items, clothing, and school supplies for the kids.
