Welcome Saleh Familiy! Dad, Mom and their five children arrived to the United States in May of 2021. Dad as a trained physician was an advisor to the Ministry of Health in Afghanistan. Mom is very busy with the kids at home and working on her English at the local community college. Their most urgent needs are items for the children and technology for at home learning. Please help us welcome the Saleh family!
Bahrami Family
Meet the Bahrami family! Dad has worked for the US Embassy in Kabul for 12 years and provided faithful service to USG in those years. He and his wife came to the US in June of 2021 with their 4 children, ages 7-14 years old. They are so happy to be here in America, but they are in need of many items to restart their lives here.
Chorak Family
Welcome Chorak family! They are a family of 7 with kids ages 5-15 years old, and they are very thankful to start their life in a new enviroment and new country. They recieved beds from our Bed Fund but they are still in need of many household items as well as bicycles for their kids to explore their new neighnorhood!
Rahimi Family
Meet the Rahimi family from Afghanistan! They are a family of 7, with 5 children ages 5-22 and they recently resettled in Virginia. Dad used to work with the US militray back in his home country, and mom was full time parent. The most urgent item they need is a living room set so the family can sit together and enjoy their time together, but they are truly in need of many items to restart their lives here.
Wardak Family
Meet the Wardak family from Afghanistan! They arrived to the U.S. in August of 2021 and resettled in Falls Church. They are Mom, Dad and 4 kids - 1 boy & 3 girls. The kids are going to the school and learning English, the mom is already attending English class as well. The family recieved some items from our emergency fund but still urgently needs a couch for their living room, as well as technology to help with the kids' learning.
Mohammadi Family
Meet the Mohammadi family from Afghanistan! This big family of 7 arrived to the U.S. in August of 2021 and resettled in Sacramento. The kids are going to the school and learning English, and mom will attend English class soon. The family recieved some items from our emergency fund but still urgently needs a couch for their living room, as well as technology to help with the kids' learning.
