Miry leads a workshop for parents on talking to children about human migration, refugee resettlement and how we can help. We will address how we can talk about these issues in honest and age-appropriate language to promote diversity, equity and inclusion for our resettling neighbors in Los Angeles.

This workshop is part of Welcome, Neighbor by Miry's List, designed to make Los Angeles the most welcoming place in America by 2020, in partnership with the Goldhirsh Foundation and Annenberg Foundation.

Sunday Symposium is dedicated to adult learning and examining life-applied Judaism in Los Angeles and beyond. We invite speakers from across the city to share their organizations, projects, and Jewish insights. Sessions are open to the larger community for free.
