Each November is Friendsgiving at Miry's List, when we ask people in our community to invite their friends over, share a meal, and raise money for our organization and families. All funds raised go towards supporting Miry's List and new arrival resettling families in America. Last year, over 50 Friendsgiving gatherings took place throughout November and we raised over $30,000. This year we hope to meet and exceed last year's fundraising effort and our goal is $50,000.
We’re hosting a Welcome, Neighbor table at The Los Angeles Congress of Neighborhoods, an all-day event at LA City Hall event that unites leaders from the city's 98 Neighborhood Councils. Held annually at the Los Angeles City Hall in Downtown, the goal that aims to help Neighborhood Council leaders obtain the tools and establish the relationships they need to build a prosperous future for their communities.
