Introducing the Faizi family! Mom and Dad have one daughter, who will celebrate her 8th birthday this November. The Faizis recently arrived from Afghanistan and resettled in Virginia, where their daughter was able to begin school again. Dad would also like to begin studies here in the US, with an eventual goal of becoming an electrical engineer. Most of all, the family is excited about their future here and very grateful for the opportunties they have had. This family is also in critical need of beds and bedding as they settle into their new home.

Meet the Aman family! Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan and resettled in Sacramento with their 3 kids, ages 4-7. Their 6 year old, Muhammad, wants to be a doctor when he grows up so he can help all human beings. His parents say that he is very shy but that he loves to be with his family, who make his heart sing. He and his siblings are all really hoping for bicycles so they can get outside and play with their new friends, and for a dining table to eat family meals together.

Welcome to Texas, Rahmani family! Mom and Dad have 2 little girls, ages 3 and 6, and they recently arrived from Afghanistan. In Afghanistan, Mom stayed home with the kids while Dad worked as a teacher, but she is really looking forward to starting a career here in the US. Her dream is to be a strong and financially independent woman. Both Mom and Dad are taking English classes in their new community and are excited for what the future holds for their family. They are especially in need of bedding and kitchen items for their new home, as well as a laptop to begin looking for jobs and working on their resumes.

Welcome to California, Qazizada family! Mom and Dad have four children, ages 2-10, and they recently arrived from Afghanistan. Dad worked as a police officer back home, and Mom stayed home with the kids. Both Mom and Dad are looking forward to fresh opportunities in their new community and are already enrolled in English classes. They are especially in need of bedding and kitchen items as they get settled into their new home, as well as a laptop so Dad can begin to look jobs here in his new city.

Mom and Dad both worked in the judicial system in Afghanistan as judges, as are now both taking English classes together as they settle into their new community in Virginia. Dad says his heroes are actually his children, and he is so thankful for the opportunities they will have here. The family is especially in need of bedding at this time, and greatly appreciates the support.
