The Ghafori family recently arrived from Afghanistan and is now settling into their new home in Virginia. The family includes Mom, Dad, their 2-year-old son—and they are joyfully awaiting the arrival of a new baby! In Afghanistan, Dad worked in the news industry, and Mom cared for their home and child. She is now attending English classes and preparing to welcome their newest family member. Let’s warmly welcome the Ghafori family and support them as they begin this exciting new chapter in the U.S.

The Samandari family recently arrived from Afghanistan and are now resettled in Sacramento, California. The family includes Mom, Dad, and their two young boys, ages 2 and 5. Back in Afghanistan, Dad worked as an HVAC technician, and Mom lovingly cared for their home and children. Both parents are now enrolled in English classes, eager to adapt, learn, and build a brighter future for their family. As they begin their new life, the Samandaris could use your support to help turn their new house into a warm and welcoming home.

Welcome to sunny Florida, Sultany family! The Sultanys recently arrived from Afghanistan, where Dad proudly worked as a program manager for the UN Food Program. Their young daughter is following in Dad's footsteps as a helper as her dream is to become a doctor someday—or even the president of the United States! Her biggest wish though? To make Afghanistan a safe place where girls have full rights and to ensure that no one, anywhere in the world, has to leave their homeland.
