The Nizamis recently arrived from Afghanistan and resettled in Sacramento, where the older kids have started school in their new neighborhood. The Adil family, Inamudin, Meena, and their two beautiful daughters, recently arrived from Afghanistan and are beginning their new life in California. Inamudin formerly supported U.S. efforts abroad, and Meena lovingly cared for their home and children. Their oldest is an energetic toddler, while the youngest is still a baby. As they get settled, the Adils are in urgent need of beds, bedding, and essential home items to create a safe and welcoming space for their children. Welcome to California, Qurbani family! The Qurbanis are a young family, with just one little toddler girl who is the joy of their lives. They recently resettled from Afghanistan, where Dad worked at an NGO. Dad says that if he had one day to do anything in the world, he would take that day to thank everyone who was with him during difficult times in his life.

Welcome to Washington, Sadat family! Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their 4 children, and are settling into their new neighborhood. Mom and Dad were both teachers in Afghanistan, and are thankful that their children have begun attending school in their new community already. The Sadat family is especially in need of car seats and a stroller at this time, which will help them get to school and navigate their neighborhood as well.

Introducing Neyaesh Khadem and the Khadem family! The Khadems recently arrived from Afghanistan and resettled in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mom and Dad have three children, ages 2, 7, and 11, and Neyaesh is the oldest. She is very excited to attend school here in the the US, as she hopes to become a doctor someday, and especially one that helps new mothers. Her favorite things about herself are her kindness and strength.

They are especially in need of beds, beddings, and baby items for their newest baby boy as they settle into their new home.

Meet the Hamidi family! Mom, Dad, and their adorable toddler son recently arrived from Afghanistan and resettled in California. They have loved getting to know their new neighborhood and enjoy going on picnics together in the local park. They are especially in need of beds, bedding, and a car seat for their little boy to keep him safe.
Muradi Family
Introducing the Muradi family! Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their two little ones: a toddler son and preschool aged daughter. They resettled in Maryland and are building community there in their new neighborhood. Dad is especially enjoying East Coast pizza! This family is especially in need of carseats and a stroller for the kids, as well as beds and bedding as they navigate the cold winter months. Thank you for helping!

Welcome to California, Payam family! The Payam family is a big, happy family of 8- with 6 kids ranging in ages from toddler to teen. Dad was an electrical engineer in Afghanistan, where the family recently resettled from, and Mom stayed home with the kids. Mom is now taking an English class in her new community, and excited for the new learning opportunities available to her here. She also loves to sew and has a sewing machine on her wishlist, hoping that she can continue her beloved craft here in her new home. The family is also in need of beds and bedding as they settle into their new home.
Esteqlal Family
Introducing the Esteqlal family! Mom and Dad have four children: an elementary aged daughter, preschool aged son, and twin baby girls! They recently arrived from Afghanistan, where Dad proudly served as a security guard for the US Embassy. His oldest daughter says her Dad is her hero! She also shared that she loves running and playing with her little brother, and she hopes to make a lot of new friends in her neighborhood! She and her family are still in need of beds and bedding in their new home, and her baby sisters especially need cribs and carseats. Thank you for helping!

Meet the Haroon family! The Haroons are Mom, Dad, and their 4 kids, ranging from preschool to middle school. They recently arrrived from Afghanistam, and resettled in California. Mom was a teacher in Afghanistan, and her daughter has a dream to be one someday too! Their whole family is very grateful to be able to continue the education of the children here in the US, so that they can follow their dreams.

Their oldest wants to be an engineer when he grows up, and shared that in the future his biggest goal is to serve humanity. He loves making new friends and and hopes to share some ice cream with the kids in his new neighborhood very soon.
