Introducing the Sahar family. They recently arrived from Afghanistan and are now beginning their new life in Sacramento, California. Mom and Dad have two young children, ages six and four. Dad previously worked with the U.S. Embassy, and Mom has been a full-time caregiver for the family. Both parents are now attending English classes as they settle into their new community.
