The Mehraban family—Timor Shah and Elham—recently arrived from Afghanistan and are beginning their new life in San Rafael, California. Back home, Timor Shah worked in sales, buying and selling saffron, while Elham was a talented makeup artist. They bring with them a spirit of resilience and hope as they begin to rebuild from scratch. Now settling into their new apartment, they are in need of household essentials to help create a space that feels like home.
