The Danish parents recently arrived from Afghanistan with their 4-year-old daughter and are beginning their new life in Sacramento, California. Dad worked as a logistics specialist with DynCorp back home, while Mom cared for their household. She is now taking English classes to build new skills as they settle into their community.
