Meet the Momand family! Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their five young children, ages 3 to 9, and are beginning a new chapter in Riverdale, Maryland. As they get to know their new community, they’re hopeful for a bright future. Back home, Dad worked to support the family, and Mom cared for the children as a dedicated homemaker.
