Introducing the Mohammady family. Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their six-year-old daughter and are beginning their new chapter in El Cajon, California. Dad worked in construction back home, while Mom cared for the household. Both parents are now enrolled in English classes as they work to build stability and confidence in their new community.
