Introducing the Qarizada family. Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their four children, ages nine to four. They have resettled in North Highlands, California. Back home, Dad worked as a case principal, and Mom was a social worker. Dad is currently enrolled in English classes as the family begins this new chapter.
