Introducing the Akbari family. Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their two young children, ages 5 and 3. They have resettled in North Highlands, CA and are working hard to build a new start for their family. Mom is currently focused on caring for the children and is enrolled in English classes to strengthen her language skills and expand future opportunities. Please join us in welcoming the Akbari family and helping them feel supported as they begin this new chapter.
