Introducing the Kharooti family. They recently arrived from Afghanistan and have resettled in Carmichael, California with their four children, ages 7, 6, 4, and a newborn. Back home, the father worked as an auditor, while the mother cared for the household. Both parents are currently taking English classes as they begin building their new life in the United States. Please join us in welcoming the Kharooti family and supporting them during this transition.
