Introducing the Anwari family! Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their three daughters, ages 10, 7, and an infant, and have resettled in Sacramento, California. Back home, Dad was working to support the family, while Mom served as the head of a midwifery unit, caring for women and newborns in her community. As they begin this new chapter, both parents are actively taking English classes and working hard to build a stable future for their children.
