As they begin settling into their new community, Mom is actively taking English classes and working toward building a strong foundation for their family. Introducing the Kherzada family! Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with 4 kids, ages 22, 20, 14, and 5. They resettled in Sacramento, CA. Dad was a Electrician back home and Mom is a housewife. Mom & Dad are currently taking an English class to adapt to their new home. Please welcome the family.
Introducing the Anwari family! Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their three daughters, ages 10, 7, and an infant, and have resettled in Sacramento, California. Back home, Dad was working to support the family, while Mom served as the head of a midwifery unit, caring for women and newborns in her community. As they begin this new chapter, both parents are actively taking English classes and working hard to build a stable future for their children.
