Here in the U.S., she has already enrolled in English classes as she prepares for this next chapter The Eqbals are excited to build a safe and stable future for their growing family. Meet the Samim family! Recently arrived from Afghanistan, the Samims are Mom, Dad, and five kids ages from 12Y to 4Y old and baby in the way. They've resettled in California. Dad was Education Specialist in Afghanistan and Mom is a housewife. She is taking English classes. They are in urgent need of household items, including baby items.

The Falahs are a newly arrived Afghan family who have resettled in California with their young son and daughter. Both Mom and Dad deeply value education. Dad previously worked on education initiatives with USAID, and Mom was a teacher. They are thrilled to have their children begin school in their new neighborhood and are committed to helping them achieve their dreams. As they settle in, they are in need of beds for their home to ensure restful nights and fresh starts each day.

Introducing the Haidary family! Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their two adorable daughters, ages 3 and 7. They resettled in Maryland and are enjoying their first American winter. Elena, their 7 year old, says the thing she is most thankful for in life is her ability to go to school. She also recently celebrated her birthday in December and was happy to invite new friends to celebrate with her, as birthday parties are what makes her heart sing!

Meet Horeen Khaknizhad and her family! Horeen is 5 years old and recently arrived from Afghanistan with her Mom, Dad, older sister, and little brother. Their family resettled in El Cajon, and Horeen can't wait to spend special days exploring California with her family! She love to draw and write, and is excited to decorate her new room.

Welcome Masa Ebrahimkhil and her family! Masa, age 6, recently arrived from Afghanistan with her Mom, Dad, and younger sister and brother. She and her family resettled in the Sacramento area, and are settling into their new neighborhood. Masa says that she is looking forward to making new friends at school, but that she also wants to study hard so she can become an engineer. Her big dream is to help humanity someday.

Introducing the Naqshbandi family! Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their 10 year old daughter, 14 year old son, and 23 year old adult son. They resettled in Sacramento, California, and are getting to know their new community. Mom was a biology teacher in Afghanistan, and the kids are especially excited to go to their new school here in California to continue their educational journeys.
