It was a day of recognition and democracy with Councilman Jose Huizar at City Hall in Los Angeles. Miry's List received an award for the work that we do to welcome New Arrival families in our city and the Neighborhood Welcoming Resolution we spearheaded in our neighborhood.
Our goal is to make LA the model for best practices for refugee resettlement for the entire country. We hope this inspires people in other cities to do the same!
