Please welcome the Joya family from Afghanistan! They arrived in the U.S. in October of 2021 and resettled in Fort Worth, TX. They are a family of 4 with a 1 year old boy and 1 new born girl. Dad worked in Combat Medic with US Army back in Afghanistan! Mom has started English classes through our SANAH program. Their most urgent needs are laptops, household items and things for the little ones.
Welcome the Rahimyar Family! They are a mom, dad, sister and brother, ages 7 and 2. They left an unsafe situation in Afghanistan where dad served as an interpreter in the US Embassy. While they miss family and friends back home, they have great dreams of pursuing higher education in their new home in California. Let's help make their house a home!
Please welcome the Khuram family from Afghanistan! They arrived in November of 2021 and consist of mom, dad, and 3 children ages 10, 8, and 6 years old. Mom and Dad served with USAID back home and came to the US in hopes of a better future for their family. Let's welcome our new neighbors and help meet their urgent needs.
