Please welcome the Joya family from Afghanistan! They arrived in the U.S. in October of 2021 and resettled in Fort Worth, TX. They are a family of 4 with a 1 year old boy and 1 new born girl. Dad worked in Combat Medic with US Army back in Afghanistan! Mom has started English classes through our SANAH program. Their most urgent needs are laptops, household items and things for the little ones.
Welcome the Rahimyar Family! They are a mom, dad, sister and brother, ages 7 and 2. They left an unsafe situation in Afghanistan where dad served as an interpreter in the US Embassy. While they miss family and friends back home, they have great dreams of pursuing higher education in their new home in California. Let's help make their house a home!
Meet the Yadgari family from Afghanistan! They arrived to the U.S. in July of 2021 and resettled in Rancho Cordova, CA. They are Mom, Dad and 1 little boy. Mom is currently learning English and excited to learn. The family recieved some items from our emergency fund but still urgently need more items for their new home.
Meet the Isaqzai family from Afghanistan! They arrived to the U.S. in October of 2021 and resettled in Fairfax, VA. They are Mom, Dad, 2 boys and 1 newborn baby girl. Dad used to be a Data Management supervisor, and mom was a Project Advisor with the US Embassy. They are so thankful to be here and appreciate all your help!
Welcome Momand Family! They are a big family of 7, with 5 kids ages 1-10 years old. Dad was a US company employee in Kabul, Afghanistan, and Mom is a full time parent. They are happy to live in US now for a better future! The Momand family needs many household supplies but their urgent needs are a sewing machine, TV, and Visa gift cards for kids' clothes as it gets colder outside!
Let's welcome the Mohammadi family from Afghanistan! They are a family of 6- mom, dad with 4 children ages 9,6,5, and 1 years old, and they arrived in August of 2021. Dad has a degree in English literature and served as interpreter with US troops in Afghanistan for over 5 years. He is looking forward to continuing higher education here in the US as well! Their urgent needs are bike for dad to go to school and a washing machine.
Welcome Taj family from Afghanistan! This family has 2 cute kids- a 4 year old daughter and 7 month old son. They arrived in July of 2021 and resettled in Orange County, California. Mom was a teacher back home and has already begun ESL classes for herself here in the US! She is currently taking these classes on her phone so her top need is a laptop. They also need many other items for their new home, and they are so grateful for all of the help!
Meet the Surkhi family from Afghanistan! They are a family of 5- soon to be 6 with a new baby on the way! Dad worked for US companies in Afghanistan and mom has her hands full with 3 little girls! They arrived in August of 2021 and they need our help with many items to start their new life here in America.
Welcome Hashimi Family from Afghanistan! Dad was an army officer with the US military in Afghanistan and came to the US with his family in December of 2020. They have 3 young children age 5, 4 and 1 year old, and their urgent needs are gift cards to buy winter clothes, a dinning table, blankets, a heater and other house supplies. Thank you for helping!
Welcome Sultani family of 3 from Afghanistan! They arrived in August of 2021. They are mom and dad with their 20 month old baby and new baby due in Janurary 2022! Dad used to serve the US Embassy as mechanic for years. Mom is eager to continue her higher education here. After her new baby is born she will join ESL classes. They are in need of basic household supplies. Their urgent needs are computer, microwave, vaccum cleaner, and a cellphone.
Welcome Ulfath family! Dad, Mom and their 5 children arrived to the United States in July of 2021. In Afghanistan Dad worked for US Military in the special forces unit for over 7 years! Mom has been busy raising their 5 children and hopes to take English classes at the local community college. Their biggest needs are household supplies and technology for doing school work at home.
