Welcome Mohammadi family! This young couple arrived to the US in September of 2021 and resettled in Virginia. Mrs. Mohammadi has been experiencing some health issues, but has previously been a tailor and hopes to get back to that when she is well again. Mr. Mohammadi worked for the US Embassy in Afghanistan and is happy to be here in the US. They are just restarting their lives here, and need clothing and shoes (via Visa gift cards so they can choose style and size in person), as well as a cell phone to communicate.

Welcome Dorani family! Mother, daughter and son in-law arrived in August of 2021 from Afghanistan. They recently were able to get into their own apartment together and are in need of their basic household supplies. Mom is very good at tailoring and hopes to be able to make their clothes sometimes at home in the near future!

Welcome Saleh Familiy! Dad, Mom and their five children arrived to the United States in May of 2021. Dad as a trained physician was an advisor to the Ministry of Health in Afghanistan. Mom is very busy with the kids at home and working on her English at the local community college. Their most urgent needs are items for the children and technology for at home learning. Please help us welcome the Saleh family!
Aman Family
Welcome Aman family! Mom, Dad and three small children arrived in the United States in July of 2021! Dad was a fiscal specialist for the US army in Afghanistan for over 7 years! Mom is at home with the kids and working on learning English at the local college. Most urgent needs are technology for at home learning and things for the children. Please join us in welcoming the Aman family!

Welcome Fairwar family! They arrived to the U.S from Afghanistan in August 2021 and settled in the North Bay Area of California. Dad and Mom have 3 children ages 12, 11 and 8 years old, and Dad served International Organizations for over 10 years back home. The children are enjoying their new school and mom is planning to attend ESL classes as soon as she gets her driving license. The kids love to play and are really looking forward to getting bicycles to explore their new neighborhood!

Welcome Shamal family! Back in Kabul, Dad was a translator for the US Embassy and Mom was a teacher, and this young couple arrived with their 4 year old son in August of 2021. They first stayed in a hotel here before they finally got to move in to their new apartment. They are so happy in their new home and grateful for any help they can recieve with supplies for it.

Mom is attending English classes currently and feels hopeful for their new life here. Their most urgent needs are laptops and household items, and some toys and a bike for the little one.

Meet the Yadgari family from Afghanistan! They arrived to the U.S. in July of 2021 and resettled in Rancho Cordova, CA. They are Mom, Dad and 1 little boy. Mom is currently learning English and excited to learn. The family recieved some items from our emergency fund but still urgently need more items for their new home.

Meet the Isaqzai family from Afghanistan! They arrived to the U.S. in October of 2021 and resettled in Fairfax, VA. They are Mom, Dad, 2 boys and 1 newborn baby girl. Dad used to be a Data Management supervisor, and mom was a Project Advisor with the US Embassy. They are so thankful to be here and appreciate all your help!

They are a family of 8, with 6 children- 4 boys age 11, 8, 6, 4 years old and 2 duaghters age 9 and 2 years old. Mom was a school teacher and dad has a bachelors degree in marketing. He used to work in one of US companies in Afghanistan. They are in need of house, school and kitchen supplies. Thank you for helping!

Meet the Bahrami family! Dad has worked for the US Embassy in Kabul for 12 years and provided faithful service to USG in those years. He and his wife came to the US in June of 2021 with their 4 children, ages 7-14 years old. They are so happy to be here in America, but they are in need of many items to restart their lives here.

Welcome Chorak family! They are a family of 7 with kids ages 5-15 years old, and they are very thankful to start their life in a new enviroment and new country. They recieved beds from our Bed Fund but they are still in need of many household items as well as bicycles for their kids to explore their new neighnorhood!

Meet the Rahimi family from Afghanistan! They are a family of 7, with 5 children ages 5-22 and they recently resettled in Virginia. Dad used to work with the US militray back in his home country, and mom was full time parent. The most urgent item they need is a living room set so the family can sit together and enjoy their time together, but they are truly in need of many items to restart their lives here.

Welcome Momand Family! They are a big family of 7, with 5 kids ages 1-10 years old. Dad was a US company employee in Kabul, Afghanistan, and Mom is a full time parent. They are happy to live in US now for a better future! The Momand family needs many household supplies but their urgent needs are a sewing machine, TV, and Visa gift cards for kids' clothes as it gets colder outside!

Let's welcome the Mohammadi family from Afghanistan! They are a family of 6- mom, dad with 4 children ages 9,6,5, and 1 years old, and they arrived in August of 2021. Dad has a degree in English literature and served as interpreter with US troops in Afghanistan for over 5 years. He is looking forward to continuing higher education here in the US as well! Their urgent needs are bike for dad to go to school and a washing machine.

Welcome Taj family from Afghanistan! This family has 2 cute kids- a 4 year old daughter and 7 month old son. They arrived in July of 2021 and resettled in Orange County, California. Mom was a teacher back home and has already begun ESL classes for herself here in the US! She is currently taking these classes on her phone so her top need is a laptop. They also need many other items for their new home, and they are so grateful for all of the help!
