Board discussion and motion to enroll Hollywood United Neighborhood Council to be part of the Welcome, Neighbor program in collaboration with Miry's List and Empower LA and appoint a volunteer board member or stakeholder as Welcoming Liaison. This program would give our neighborhood council and stakeholders a framework for supporting families resettling in Los Angeles as refugees. This vote is to complete the application form for Welcome, Neighbor and the programming would begin in January. Presented by Miry Whitehill of Miry's List.
