Introducing the Raofi family! The Raofi family recently arrived from Afghanistan and has resettled in Silver Spring, Maryland with their four children, ages 6 to 15. Back home, Dad worked as a medical doctor and Mom was a teacher. As they begin this new chapter, both parents are taking English classes while rebuilding their lives.Please join us in warmly welcoming the Raofi family.
Hassan Family
Introducing the Hassan family! Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with five kids, ages 18, 15, 13, 10, and 3. They resettled in College Park, Maryland. Dad was an Administrator for USAID Projects back home in Afghanistan. Mom is a full time parent. Mom is planning to take an English class to adjust to her new home. Please welcome the family.
Ghafoori Family
Introducing the Ghafoori Family! The Ghafoori family recently arrived from Afghanistan and has resettled in Rancho Cordova, California. The family includes Mom, Dad, and their three children, ages 13 to 6. Back home, Dad provided travel services in support of the U.S. Government, while Mom worked as a teacher. As they begin building their new life in the United States, Mom is currently taking English classes and the family is focused on creating a stable and successful future. Afshar Family
Introducing the Afshar family! Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their three children, ages 17, 11, and 9, and have resettled in Antelope, California. Back home, Dad worked as an electrician, while Mom cared for the family as a homemaker. As they begin building their new life, the family is adjusting to their new environment and settling into the community. Please join us in warmly welcoming the Afshar family.
Ahmadi Family
Introducing the Ahmadi family. They recently arrived from Afghanistan and have resettled in North Highlands, California with their four children. Back home, the father was employed, while the mother cared for the household. The mother is currently enrolled in English classes as the family begins building their new life in the United States. Meet the Amiri family. They recently arrived from Afghanistan and are starting a new chapter in Anaheim, California with their four children, ages 1 to 11. Back home, Dad worked as a computer operator, and Mom cared for the family full time. Today, both parents are taking English classes and working hard to build a stable future for their children. Mohammady Family
Introducing the Mohammady family! Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their four sons, ranging in age from 16 to 5, and have resettled in Antelope, California. Back home, Dad worked as a truck driver and welder, while Mom cared for the family as a homemaker. As they begin this new chapter, both parents are actively taking English classes and working toward building a stable future for their children.
