Introducing the Yaqubi family. Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their five children, ages 15 to 8, and have resettled in Sacramento, California. The family is working hard to adjust to their new community and create stability for their children. Mom is currently taking English classes and is focused on building her language skills as they begin this new chapter together. Introducing the Rahimi family. Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their seven children, ages 20 to 4, and have resettled in Buffalo, New York. The family is adjusting to a new community while caring for their young children and planning for the future. Mom is currently enrolled in English classes and is working hard to build her language skills as they settle into their new life. Introducing the Hossieny family. Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their three children, including thirteen year old twins and an eleven year old. They have resettled in Fremont, California, and are beginning a new chapter together. Back home, Dad worked in the construction field, bringing valuable hands on experience. Mom has been caring for the family and is currently taking English classes as she builds skills for the future. Please join us in warmly welcoming the Hossieny family to the community.
Introducing the Zarifi family. Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with six children, ages six through twenty one. They have resettled in Concord, California. Dad worked as a mechanic with the US Army back home, and Mom is a homemaker who is now looking for an English class. Please join us in welcoming the family.
