The family includes Mom, Dad, and three wonderful children—a 9-year-old son and two daughters, ages 8 and 5. Back home, Dad worked as a civil engineer, while Mom cared for the family. Here in the U.S., she has already enrolled in English classes and is eager to learn and grow in her new community. The Falahs are a newly arrived Afghan family who have resettled in California with their young son and daughter. Both Mom and Dad deeply value education. Dad previously worked on education initiatives with USAID, and Mom was a teacher. They are thrilled to have their children begin school in their new neighborhood and are committed to helping them achieve their dreams. As they settle in, they are in need of beds for their home to ensure restful nights and fresh starts each day.
