Back home, Dad worked as a hygiene promoter with the IRC while Mom cared for the family. Both parents have enrolled in English classes and are currently on the waiting list to begin. Introducing the Noori family! Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their three children, ages 6, 7, and 11. They resettled in Sacramento and are happy to begin to make friends with their new neighbors. Dad was a taxi driver in Afghanistan and always enjoyed getting to know new people in his community. The whole family is grateful for the help they have recieved so far and are looking forward to their home being warm and cozy.
