The Mohammad family has recently arrived from Afghanistan and is beginning a new life in California. Their family includes Mom, Dad, and five children ranging in age from 9 to 19 years old. Back in Afghanistan, Dad worked in construction, and Mom was a full-time homemaker. Both parents are eager to learn and are currently seeking English classes to support their transition and better connect with their new community.
