Introducing the Hemat Family!

The Hemat family recently arrived from Afghanistan and is now settling into their new home in Sacramento, California. The family includes Mom, Dad, five children ranging from 9 to 20 years old—and they are also expecting a new baby soon! Back in Afghanistan, Dad worked as a medical doctor, and Mom lovingly cared for their home and children. They are now getting to know their new community and taking the first steps toward building a safe and hopeful future. Let’s give the Hemat family a warm welcome and support them as they begin this new chapter in their lives.
