The Wishal family—Mr. and Mrs. Wishal and their four children, ages 3 through 19—have recently resettled in Corona, California after leaving Afghanistan. Mr. Wishal was gainfully employed in his community back home, and Mrs. Wishal has devoted herself full-time to caring for their family. Committed to building a successful new life, both parents are now enrolled in local English classes to strengthen their language skills and fully engage in their community.
