Introducing the Sakha family. Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their five children, ranging in age from five to seventeen. They have resettled in Sacramento, California, and are beginning this new chapter together. Back home, Dad worked as a translator, bringing valuable language and communication skills. Mom has been caring for the family and is now enrolled in English classes as she prepares for new opportunities. Please join us in warmly welcoming the Sakha family to the community.
