The Sadats recently arrived from Afghanistan and are beginning a new chapter in Virginia. The family includes Mom and Dad, their two daughters (ages 20 and 16), and two sons (ages 18 and 13). Back home, Dad was a respected university teacher, and Mom devoted her time to caring for the family. Now in the U.S., she has proudly enrolled in English classes and is eager to build new connections. As they settle into their new home and community, the Sadats need your support to create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming space. Let’s help them feel at home!
Akbarzai Family
Recently arrived from Afghanistan, the Akbarzai family is settling into their new home in El Cajon, California. Mom and Dad have five wonderful children, ranging in age from 11 to 3 years old. Back in Afghanistan, Dad worked as a Research Team Leader, and Mom lovingly cared for their home and children. Now in the U.S., both parents are enrolled in English classes as they take steps toward building a new life for their family.
Let’s give the Akbarzai family a warm welcome and support them as they navigate this exciting new chapter in their journey.
