Meet the Zakhil family. This husband and wife recently arrived from Afghanistan. He worked as an education assistant back home, and she managed their household with care. They are now starting their new chapter in Hanahan, South Carolina. She has already begun taking English classes as they settle into their new community. Introducing the Tajzai family. Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their four children, ages eight to fourteen. They have resettled in Sacramento, California, and are beginning their new journey together. Back home, Dad worked as a shopkeeper, bringing experience in small business and customer service. Mom has been caring for the family and is currently looking for English classes as she prepares for the next steps ahead. Please join us in warmly welcoming the Tajzai family to the community.
Introducing the Rahmani family. Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their two children, a seven year old boy and a seven month old baby girl. They are now resettled in San Diego, California. Dad previously worked with the Crops USAID funded project, and Mom is a homemaker who has already started taking English classes as they rebuild their life here. Introducing the Sakha family. Mom and Dad recently arrived from Afghanistan with their five children, ranging in age from five to seventeen. They have resettled in Sacramento, California, and are beginning this new chapter together. Back home, Dad worked as a translator, bringing valuable language and communication skills. Back home, she worked in data entry with a U.S. company and brings valuable professional experience with her.
