The Noorzai family recently arrived from Afghanistan and are now settling into their new home in Elk Grove, California. Mom and Dad have five children, ranging in age from 11 to 28. Back home, Dad worked as a shopkeeper while Mom cared for the family. Both parents are currently enrolled in English classes as they begin this new chapter.
