Dad worked as an engineer back home and is now working as an assembler while Mom is eager to attend English classes. Both children are in school and are excited to be living in the United States. Their most urgent needs are household items and laptops for learning English and doing schoolwork.

Welcome Saleh Familiy! Dad, Mom and their five children arrived to the United States in May of 2021. Dad as a trained physician was an advisor to the Ministry of Health in Afghanistan. Mom is very busy with the kids at home and working on her English at the local community college. Their most urgent needs are items for the children and technology for at home learning. Welcome Aman family! Mom, Dad and three small children arrived in the United States in July of 2021! Dad was a fiscal specialist for the US army in Afghanistan for over 7 years! Mom is at home with the kids and working on learning English at the local college. Most urgent needs are technology for at home learning and things for the children. Welcome Shamal family! Back in Kabul, Dad was a translator for the US Embassy and Mom was a teacher, and this young couple arrived with their 4 year old son in August of 2021. They first stayed in a hotel here before they finally got to move in to their new apartment. They are so happy in their new home and grateful for any help they can recieve with supplies for it.

Meet the Isaqzai family from Afghanistan! They arrived to the U.S. in October of 2021 and resettled in Fairfax, VA. They are Mom, Dad, 2 boys and 1 newborn baby girl. Dad used to be a Data Management supervisor, and mom was a Project Advisor with the US Embassy. They are so thankful to be here and appreciate all your help!

They are a family of 8, with 6 children- 4 boys age 11, 8, 6, 4 years old and 2 duaghters age 9 and 2 years old. Mom was a school teacher and dad has a bachelors degree in marketing. He used to work in one of US companies in Afghanistan. They are in need of house, school and kitchen supplies. Thank you for helping!

Welcome Momand Family! They are a big family of 7, with 5 kids ages 1-10 years old. Dad was a US company employee in Kabul, Afghanistan, and Mom is a full time parent. They are happy to live in US now for a better future! The Momand family needs many household supplies but their urgent needs are a sewing machine, TV, and Visa gift cards for kids' clothes as it gets colder outside!

Welcome Taj family from Afghanistan! This family has 2 cute kids- a 4 year old daughter and 7 month old son. They arrived in July of 2021 and resettled in Orange County, California. Mom was a teacher back home and has already begun ESL classes for herself here in the US! She is currently taking these classes on her phone so her top need is a laptop. They also need many other items for their new home, and they are so grateful for all of the help!

Welcome Janani family! This family is from Afghanistan but had been in Sri Lanka since 2016 awaiting their visa. They were finally able to come to the US in 2021 and are so happy to be here. Mom and dad have 2 boys, ages 9 and 5 years old. The 9 year old loves soccer and the 5 year old loves Ninja Turtles! Please give this family a warm welcome!

Meet the Surkhi family from Afghanistan! They are a family of 5- soon to be 6 with a new baby on the way! Dad worked for US companies in Afghanistan and mom has her hands full with 3 little girls! They arrived in August of 2021 and they need our help with many items to start their new life here in America.

Welcome Hashimi Family from Afghanistan! Dad was an army officer with the US military in Afghanistan and came to the US with his family in December of 2020. They have 3 young children age 5, 4 and 1 year old, and their urgent needs are gift cards to buy winter clothes, a dinning table, blankets, a heater and other house supplies. Thank you for helping!

Meet the Shireenzada family from Afghanistan! They arrived to the U.S. in August of 2021 and resettled in Falls Church. They are Mom, Dad and 1 boy. The mom will attend English class soon and she need the laptop very urgent to start the class. The family recieved some items from our emergency fund but still urgently needs a couch for their living room, as well as technology to help with the mom and the boy learning.
