Please welcome the Joya family from Afghanistan! They arrived in the U.S. in October of 2021 and resettled in Fort Worth, TX. They are a family of 4 with a 1 year old boy and 1 new born girl. Dad worked in Combat Medic with US Army back in Afghanistan! Mom has started English classes through our SANAH program. Their most urgent needs are laptops, household items and things for the little ones.
Welcome the Rahimyar Family! They are a mom, dad, sister and brother, ages 7 and 2. They left an unsafe situation in Afghanistan where dad served as an interpreter in the US Embassy. While they miss family and friends back home, they have great dreams of pursuing higher education in their new home in California. Let's help make their house a home!
Welcome Niaz family! They are a family of 7 who arrived from Afghanistan in August of 2021, and resettled in Sacramento, CA. They have 5 kids, ages 10-23 years old, and they are all very excited for their education here. Dad used to serve the US Army for 10 years, and now both he and his wife are enrolled in ESL classes. They urgently need technology for learning, as well as kitchen and household supplies.
