Meet the Karimi family from Afghanistan! They arrived in the U.S. in October of 2021 and resettled in Manassas, Virginia . They are a husband, wife and 2 kids; 1 boy and 1 girl. Dad and mom are both attending English classes now, and feel so proud to be in the US! Their most urgent needs are laptops for learning and job searching, household items and some toys for their kids as they settle in to their new home.

Welcome the Rahimyar Family! They are a mom, dad, sister and brother, ages 7 and 2. They left an unsafe situation in Afghanistan where dad served as an interpreter in the US Embassy. While they miss family and friends back home, they have great dreams of pursuing higher education in their new home in California. Let's help make their house a home!

Welcome Ehsan family! This family of 4 from Afghanistan arrived in October of 2021 and seatled in Falls Church, VA. Dad was contractor manager in one of the US companies in Afghanistan, and mom has been a full time parent, as they have 2 boys age 3 and 5. They are so happy to be here and are appreciative of th support!

Let's welcome the Kohistani family from Afghanistan! They are a family of 6- mom, dad and 4 children ages 8, 6 and 3 year old twins! They arrived to the US in August of 2021 and resettled in Sacramento. Dad served the US Embassy for over 5 years in Afghanistan! They are a happy family and the children are really excited being here and for their new school. The twins love to go outside to play as well. They are in need of some urgent items to start their new lives in America.

Welcome Ulfath family! Dad, Mom and their 5 children arrived to the United States in July of 2021. In Afghanistan Dad worked for US Military in the special forces unit for over 7 years! Mom has been busy raising their 5 children and hopes to take English classes at the local community college. Their biggest needs are household supplies and technology for doing school work at home.
